So much of what we face today as a people is not natural. Our air is often tinged with the scent of controlled burns - man-made fires created to stop man-made forest growth. Our water, corrupted by pollutants, now comes to us in plastic bottles, which only continues the cycle.

And even our plants, such as tobacco, are now laced with lethal and addictive additives that the Creator never intended. The smell of fresh air, the sun making its way to sleep behind Bear Butte, and the grass - a soft carpet beneath our feet - These images are not distant relics of the past. They exist for us still. Our choices are always before us. Which drum do you want to hear? Which drum invites you to sing and to dance?
