“Toward Healthier Nations”
These are not just words to us. At the Black Hills Center for American Indian Health, we incorporate this philosophy into all of our projects as we work to enhance the physical, mental, spiritual, and cultural health of American Indians, tribes and communities.
Founded in 1998 in Rapid City, South Dakota, BHCAIH works in collaboration with many American Indian communities in conducting research to better educate our people on an array of health issues including cancer, tobacco control and heart disease.
